Our Story
Born in the laneways of Surry Hills back in 2015, Urban Bites Co. set out with one goal: elevate beloved street classics with chef-level technique and locally grown produce. What started as a single food truck quickly evolved into a fleet of customised kitchens on wheels, each one equipped to plate restaurant-quality dishes in the middle of festivals, corporate foyers or even a backyard wedding.
We collaborate with more than a dozen NSW farmers and fisheries, ensuring 80 % of our ingredients travel less than 200 km before reaching the grill. This not only guarantees peak freshness but strengthens regional food systems across the state.

Tailored menus and on-site cooking stations for corporate gatherings, weddings, and music festivals. Logistics, staffing, dietary management—handled from start to finish.
Food Truck Rentals
Choose branded or blank-canvas trucks fitted with high-output kitchens. Available as full-service with our chef-drivers or dry-hire for seasoned pros.
Gourmet Street Stalls
Compact 3 × 3 m stalls through to 6 × 6 m footprints, perfect for markets, pop-culture expos and community events where flexibility is key.
Menu Development
Need a street-food twist at your venue? Our chefs provide recipe R&D, cost modelling and staff workshops to get you service-ready.
Local Ingredient Sourcing
We negotiate directly with NSW farms to guarantee traceability, seasonal freshness and a smaller carbon footprint for every bite.
